Thinking about bringing this on the Bus

The worst thing about the bus is that it makes you feel stupid. Every morning the same 30+ year olds take the bus I do, and just about every single one of them is reading The Atlantic or The Wilson Quarterly. Meanwhile, I am playing Tetris on my phone. In general they are all really nice and stuff, you don’t sense they are judging you or anything, but you just feel stupid drinking water out of your Styrofoam cup and trying to fit the green ‘z’ shaped block with the light blue ‘L’ shaped box when the person next to has one of those stainless steel ‘green’ coffee cups with a 89.3 Current sticker on it and is reading an article entitled, “Analysis of the creative spirit: How Alan Ginsberg’s voice liberated a beat.” This person does know it is 8:33 in the morning and not 4:20- the time when most people start reading Ginsberg.

But whatever, they are nice and all. Also supposedly the bus routes changed on May 14th, but I haven’t noticed a difference besides getting a new driver. Other than that, everything is the same. So you got me.

I am thinking about bringing in that really long book War and Peace tomorrow on the bus and playing Tetris inside the book while I pretend to read it.

Anyway now onto some sports, err I mean NBA bullet points

• Seeing as I was right about the Grizzlies being Thunderstruck, now that OKC is facing Dallas in the Western Conference Finals I believe Dallas will win the series in 6 because Dallas plays better half court basketball and will control the pace of the games. However I won’t be surprised if OKC ends up winning, the Mavs have always been known to choke, and with the young energetic team that OKC is, the Mavs are in for a tough series.

• Wow, is Taj Gibson a beast. He had one of the sickest put back slams I ever seen! Thankfully the Bulls won game one thanks to their defense and hustle work towards getting the boards. Before Game 1 I thought the Bulls would win, but now after Game 1 I think the Bulls will win in a tight series that goes all the way to Game 7
