If you are wondering, no I did not bring War and Peace on the bus, and don't plan on doing so anytime soon. Nonetheless I did read on the bus this time. I read a story on phone from yahoo news mobile about how Gov Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child outside of his marriage. Considering that his Govonator nickname doesn't work anymore because he will no longer be the governor, I propose his new nickname be The Impregnator!
Also today at work I was privileged enough to have the opportunity to write as a 21+ year old female that loves country music when I was assigned to write a blog post about Taylor Swift is coming to Minnesota. I am not going to give you a link to the blog post because
A. I am horrible at writing as a 21+ year female country music fan
B. The very few readers I have are people I know and I know they don't like Country Music and have no interest in actually buying the tickets and they would only want to read the article so they could make fun of me and I want to save myself from the embarrassment and I want to know how long of a run on sentence I can make this and stuff.
C. I said Taylor Swift was "my girl" in the post.
And quite frankly when I said that, it was in the same connotation females give to other females. For example "that's my girl" is translated into "that's my best friend."
And let me just say: Taylor Swift is my girl ... the girl of my dreams.
Anyway now onto some sports and notes.
- So the T-Wolves of course didn't win the lottery. THANK GOD! Cleveland can be as happy as they want to be, but once reality sets in they will realize they are Drafting Kyrie Irving-An above average point guard who will NEVER make an All-Star because the NBA is stacked with talent at that position. (At the best he will be the 8th best point guard in the league, but he will probably be somewhere between the 12th and 10th best) Anyway, congrats Cavs Fans, you went from having Lebron James to drafting a player who will never make an All-Star game with the first overall pick.
- As for the Twins, they still suck. Tell me something new.
- Before you shoot me with one of your misogynistic bullets, let me say I am slightly intrigued to check out the Minnesota Lynx play this year with Maya Moore ... for about half a quarter. But seriously if they are good, save me a spot on the bandwagon please!
