Today was nice, a lot better than yesterday because I was motivated to write. I really enjoyed writing the Twins piece entitled”I lived through the Marty Cordova era.” Personally I think it is best piece I have written so far, so please check it out.
Not a lot going on, just continuing to write player profiles for the Twins and Packers( a total of 80 I think) and turning out 7 blog posts per day in order to reach the goal at the end of the week.
Sorry for not having an entertaining or insightful thing to say in this post, but today most of my writing efforts went into the Twins blog post I talked about up above. Seriously, I did a lot of math and research in it. Never thought I’d do that during my senior prospect, but hey, I guess there is some valid truth to all those times in school when the teacher says, “You might not always need to know this, but there will come a time and a day when you will be glad you did.” So thanks ‘my former 3rd grade summer school teacher with frizzy curly black hair I forgot the name of’ for teaching me how to do long division by hand. If it weren’t’ for it, I would have had no idea how to divide 404 by 558 or 558 by 404 without a calculator. I can’t remember which one is right, but once I did the work, the one where I got the decimal point is the one to use for winning percentage. All I know is that the right one is in the Twins blog. So whatever.
Right now, I just feel like I am writing ‘blah, blah, blah and more blah with a smidge of hoopla.’
Speaking of ‘hoopla’ lets get down to our NBA playoffs and other sports bullet points.
- As I said what I thought would happen in my last post, the Mavs made it to the NBA Finals. Now the question is will the Heat win in Chicago tonight? My prediction is they will not. However I do expect them to win the series.
- Twins lost last night. I guess things are back to normal.
