| I figure this is an appropriate photo of Kim Kardashian I could post in my blog |
Despite my lack of inspiration to write, I somehow manage to turn out my goal of 7 blogs posts today- (I no longer need to write 10 a day because I have less blogs, however I have other stuff I write about, which you will hear about in the next line) – all the while continuing to work on writing roster profiles on the Twins and Packers.
However the day wasn’t all that bad. Because I wrote a blog post about Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian getting engaged I was required to look up photos of Kim Kardashian on my computer. So that was really cool, and talk about a complete 180: on Monday I am forced to vacuum and clean up, and then on Wednesday I am forced to look up photos of Kim Kardashian. Ironically, the two are kind of related because most of the time when I look up Kim Kardashian there is a mess I end up cleaning up (Oh God, I hope I don’t fail senior project for that joke.)
Another highlight about it is that I am pretty sure I was able to live out a tiny dream of every heterosexual male: be required to look up photos of Kim Kardashian on Google images for work related reasons.
Anyway, now onto other places I like to eat out. (I am pretty sure I just failed Senior Project with that one)
I have a lunch schedule set in stone for the most part. Now if you know me you are probably shocked right now because the words ‘lunch’ and ‘Alex Smith’ very rarely ever go together. You see I didn’t eat lunch in school. I was usually doing homework or something. But the reason why I didn’t eat lunch is because I had homework to finish and I didn’t really like our school’s food. Yes I know my school has good food and stuff, I mean that is what everyone says, even students, so call me a picky spoiled eater if you want, and whatever. Besides it wouldn’t be the first time a kid from SPA was associated with the words ‘picky’ and ‘spoiled’ (Yep, now I am good as gone).
Anyways as I was saying, I have my lunch schedule pretty much set in stone:
Monday: small Mostaccioli with no sauce from Cossetta’s
Tuesday: Sausage Pizza from Cossetta’s
Wednesday: Gyro from West 7th street Bistro
Thursday: Caesar Salad from Cosseta’s
Friday: Jimmy Johns (Which my awesome supervisor Cortney Storsved buys for me)
And because I don’t know how to conclude the rest of this, I go onto the next part of my blog posts: bullet points talking about the NBA playoffs and other sports
- Unless a miracle happens, it looks like the NBA finals will be played between the Heat and Mavs. Before I talk about the two winning teams I am going to reflect back on the two other loosing teams, the Bulls and the Thunders. If the Thunder have taught us anything it is this: they are the future of the NBA and once Russell Westbrook gets his act together and learns how to play with Durant and not make turnovers, same goes for Durant who had 9 turnover in the last game, the Thunder will reach the NBA Finals and win a championship. (You know it is scary hat you are labeling something to be great in the future when they are already good in the present). If the Bulls have taught us anything it is this: Defense doesn’t win championship; defense and a smidge of offense from other players besides one incredibly gifted superstar, wins championship. Now then onto talking about what most likely will be the NBA Finals. Good golly Ms. Molly David Stern must be happy. HEAT=RATINGS. And Dallas, well, MARK CUBAN=RATINGS. (Speaking of which where the heck has Cuban been these whole playoffs?) Anyway, as much as it pains me to say this, I think the Heat win the finals. That being said I wouldn’t be shocked if Dallas wins. I mean what the Heat are doing is unbelievable: The Heat are showing that three players can win a game that revolves around five. It is unbelievable. They are proving the basketball gods wrong. They are showing three great players and two average to below average players, can beat five players that are between above average players to great players. Nothing like that has ever happened in the NBA before. It is shocking.
- The Twins won yesterday. Shocking I know.
